According to authorities, one person died and six were injured in an accident involving an RV and six other vehicles on I-35W in Denton. Around 3:30 p.m., an accident near Vintage Boulevard closed the northbound lanes.
“Seven people were transported to the hospital, and unfortunately, we can confirm one died upon arrival,” said the Denton Police Department. “… Four vehicles and an RV were involved in the immediate crash, and two other vehicles sustained damage.”

Drivers are encouraged to take other routes. The closure’s duration is undetermined, and authorities are conducting an investigation.
Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area if possible.
