1 Dead After Truck Slams Into Tree in Maury County, Victims Trapped in Wreckage

MAURY CO., Tenn – The Maury County Fire Department reports that a truck collided with a tree in Maury County, killing one person.

On Thursday, MCFD rushed to the 5000 block of Campbellsville Pike after receiving reports of a “serious” crash.

On the site, rescue responders discovered a vehicle that had smashed into a tree, trapping both people inside. Crews then started working to remove both victims.

According to MCFD, one of the occupants was pronounced dead at the site. There are no specifics about the other occupant’s condition at this time.

The Maury County Sheriff’s Office, Maury County Emergency Medical Services, and Tennessee Highway Patrol all responded to the scene.
