2 Oregon Ducks named Perfect Game All-Americans

Oregon outfielder Mason Neville and starting pitcher Grayson Grinsell have been named All-Americans by Perfect Game.

Neville earned second-team honors and Grinsell is a third-team selection.

A semifinalist for both the Dick Howser Trophy and the Golden Spikes Award, Neville finished the season tied for the national lead in home runs (26). UO’s center fielder hit .290, with a program record .724 slugging percentage and tied for the school record with 67 runs scored.

Oregon’s Friday night starter, Grinsell (9-3, 3.01 ERA) had 101 strikeouts in 98 2/3 innings this season while holding opposing hitters to a .205 average. In Big Ten games, he led the conference in wins (seven), ERA (1.36), batting average against (.167) and WHIP (0.86), while ranking second in strikeouts (70).
