3 Bodies Found Burned Beyond Recognition in Car Fire on Detroit’s West Side

DETROIT, Mich. – Three bodies were discovered in a burning automobile on Detroit’s west side Sunday morning.

On April 6, the Detroit Fire Department was sent around 5:50 a.m. to a car fire near Milford and 30th Streets. After the fire was extinguished, rescuers discovered three victims inside, burnt beyond recognition.

Detroit police were summoned, and the Major Crimes Unit is investigating the incident.

What we don’t know: The bodies have yet to be recognized. Officials are still gathering more information and circumstances.
