The ladies took to Hayward Field on Thursday to start competition in the 2025 NCAA Track and Field Outdoor Championships, with four Oregon Ducks and one Portland Pilot qualifying for their respective finals.
In the women’s 1,500, Oregon’s Mia Barnett, Klaudia Kazimierska and Silan Ayyildiz all qualified for Saturday’s finals. Barnett finished second in the semifinals in four minutes, 9.61 seconds while Kazimierska was third in 4:09.94 and Ayyildiz was 10th in 4:11.65.
Aaliyah McCormick qualified for the 100-meter hurdles finals, finishing second in the qualifiers with a time of 12.76 seconds.
