Another five-star prospect has committed to Oregon for 2026.
The top-ranked athlete in Nevada and the 29th-ranked player in the country, Jett Washington, announced his commitment to the Duckson on Thursday.
Attending Bishop Gorman High in Las Vegas, the 6-foot-5, 200-pound safety decided to UO over Alabama and USC. The late Kobe Bryant’s nephew is Washington. He is the son of Sharia Washington, Bryant’s older sister.
With a 247Sports Composite ranking of.9846, Washington would be ranked 16th overall among Oregon signees.
As a junior, Washington recorded 38 tackles, five interceptions, two pass breakups, and one forced fumble, earning him the 2024 MaxPreps Nevada Player of the Year award.
As a sophomore, he also recorded two interceptions and 37 tackles.
Oregon, which rose nine spots to No. 28 overall and No. 2 per player in the 247Sports rankings, now has nine commits in its 2026 class after adding Washington.
