Portland parks director placed on administrative leave

In the midst of an already turbulent time for the agency, Portland Parks & Recreation director Adena Long was put on administrative leave this week.

According to a copy obtained by The Oregonian/OregonLive and initially reported by Willamette Week, City Administrator Michael Jordan informed parks personnel of the news via email on Wednesday, without providing any information regarding the circumstances behind the abrupt change.
