Where is the best bakery in the Portland area? Nominate your favorite spot in our Readers Choice Awards

Portland’s bakery sector is a veritable gold mine of delicious, savory, and sweet treats, ranging from award-winning patisseries to neighborhood grab-and-go stores.

A chewy chocolate chip cookie is a favorite of all. Or a buttery, aflaky croissant? Or a messy breakfast sandwich with a ton of toppings? For this reason, the Oregonian/OregonLive Readers Choice Awards is addressing the issue of which bakery in the Portland area is the greatest.

There are countless options, as is frequently the case in one of the best cuisine towns in the world.

Reputable establishments continue to attract devoted patrons: places like Dos Hermanos and Tabor Bread are continually expanding, and you’ll probably still encounter lineups while visiting Ken’s Artisan Bakery on a weekend. There are vegan and gluten-free bakeries in Portland, in addition to the delicious delicacies that entice shoppers in the suburbs.

At the James Beard Awards, also known as the Oscars of the food world, North Portland’s Jinju Patisserie was recognized earlier this month as America’s most exceptional bakery. Additionally, it seems like new bakeries are opening up every day.
