A 30-year-old transgender migrant from Colombia allegedly committed a shocking crime against a child in the heart of Manhattan, according to law enforcement sources.
Nicol Suarez, an illegal alien who had previously caught the attention of federal immigration officials, allegedly followed a young victim into the park’s bathroom where the assault took place.
The brave 14-year-old escaped and sought help from nearby witnesses who quickly notified the police.

- Horrific Attack: Nicol Suarez is accused of stalking and raping a 14-year-old boy in a bathroom at Thomas Jefferson Park in East Harlem.
- Immediate Arrest: Following the attack on Tuesday, Suarez was apprehended by police the next day and charged with first-degree rape.
- Wanted by ICE: At the time of the arrest, Suarez was already wanted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, with detainers issued in both New Jersey and Massachusetts.
The incident has raised concerns about public safety and the oversight of individuals with prior legal issues under immigration watch.
Suarez, who was wanted in two other states, was arrested close to the scene of the crime on Wednesday.
