One Person Critically Injured in Head-on Collision Near Washington Square Mall in Tigard

TIGARD, Ore – Authorities said that one individual was critically hurt in a head-on collision near Washington Square Mall on Sunday afternoon.

Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue reported that emergency services responded to the incident near the intersection of Southwest Hall Boulevard and Southwest Greenburg Road in Tigard at 2:37 p.m.

First responders discovered two cars involved in a head-on accident. According to officials, one patient was in serious condition and was taken to a local trauma centre for treatment.

The accident closed Southwest Hall Boulevard in both directions for more than an hour. The northbound lanes were closed as of 5:15 p.m., according to the Oregon Department of Transportation.
