An Ohio driver who allegedly dropped his doughnut while driving on a major route triggered a terrible three-car disaster, flattening one vehicle and sending auto parts flying across the asphalt.
The tragic events occurred after an unidentified motorist dropped his sugary treat while reaching for a cup of coffee in his car while driving on Rock Creek Road in Thompson on Wednesday morning, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The distracted driver, who was unfamiliar with the winding road, allegedly swerved into oncoming traffic and side-swiped one vehicle before colliding with another, according to a local station.

After arriving at the gory scene, fire personnel rescued one individual from their automobile, causing the road to be closed for almost three hours, according to the Hamden Fire Department.
Images of the crash published on Facebook showed one car destroyed and another with a dented front end. The third automobile was spotted off the road, with a detached wheel and minor damage to the driver’s side.
Two of the drivers were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, while the third was treated on the scene.
According to WJW, the doughnut aficionado was cited for failing to stay in his lane and distracted driving.
The crash is still under investigation.
