Deadly Motorcycle Crash on I-15 in Scripps Ranch Leaves One Dead After Fiery Collision With SUV

A horrific motorbike crash on Interstate 15 in Scripps Ranch killed one person on Tuesday.

At around 4 p.m., the motorcycle was driving north at high speeds when it collided with a silver Lexus SUV just south of Mira Mesa Boulevard.

The cycle then crashed to the road and caught fire, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The person died at the spot. Authorities did not specify whether the motorcyclist or another individual killed in the crash.
