APPLEGATE– In an outlying area of Placer County on Sunday, the California Highway Patrol reported that a young girl, aged 11, was killed after she was involved in a collision with a side-by-side off-road vehicle.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) stated that it arrived at Red Feather Circle at approximately 5:45 p.m. on Sunday to investigate allegations of a collision that occurred on private property.
It is unknown what caused the vehicle to flip onto its driver’s side, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The girl was driving a Kawasaki Mule with a male sitting in the passenger seat.
It was reported by the authorities that the girl was partially thrown from the vehicle and ultimately passed away as a result of the injuries she sustained. It appears that the man sustained some rather minor injuries.
It has not been disclosed at this time who the girl is that has been identified.
About 45 miles east of Sacramento is where you’ll find Red Feather Circle, which is located by Applegate.
