Popular Northern Kentucky Restaurant Announces Permanent Closure

COVINGTON, Ky.— The Zapata Cantina said on social media that it will be closing on April 30.

Before it shuts down, the restaurant will be open Monday through Wednesday.

Zapata Cantina didn’t say why it was closing, but they did say that the outbreak, bridge closures, and lack of workers were to blame. The business owners thanked their customers and workers for their help.

“Thanks to our wonderful team, both past and present?? Thank you so much to all of our wonderful guests for all your help over the years. It was fun to work with you and serve you. You are welcome to join us for our last few nights of service. We will be closed at Zapata Cantina from tonight until Wednesday, April 30.
