The California Highway Patrol says that a crash involving three cars slowed down traffic on Highway 101 through Paso Robles on Thursday afternoon.
The CHP traffic log shows that at around 1 p.m., a silver Honda Pilot, a Ford XPL, and a gravel truck crashed near the Highway 46 west off-ramp while heading south on Highway 101.
One of the cars was stuck in the middle of the lane after the accident.
As of 2:15 p.m., the CHP had not yet said if anyone was hurt in the crash.
The caller said there was a mattress in the road in the same area before the crash, and they had to swerve to miss it, the CHP log said.
As of 2:15 p.m., a Caltrans traffic camera showed that the northbound lane of Highway 101 through Paso Robles was very slow.
