L.A., Los Angeles On May 3, a tiny plane crashed into residences in a community in Simi Valley, which is located northwest of Los Angeles. The incident resulted in the deaths of two members of households.
According to the Ventura County Fire Department, the plane made contact with two residences in the Wood Ranch neighborhood of the suburb immediately prior to two o’clock in the afternoon Pacific Time on Saturday.
The two people who were on board the plane were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, according to a statement that was published on Facebook by the department. Everyone who was inside their homes at the time of the collision did not sustain any injuries.
A notification sent by the Federal Aviation Administration on May 4 informed USA TODAY that the Vans RV-10 had taken off from William J. Fox Airfield in Lancaster and was its route to Camarillo Airport.
It was stated by the Ventura County Star, that initial callers suggested that a plane and a hillside were both on fire. Afterwards, firefighters arrived and reported that a jet had crashed into a building, which was accompanied by smoke, according to radio data indicates.
With regard to the inquiry into the collision, the National Transportation Safety Board will be in charge.
