GLENDALE, Arizona— Several people were hurt when there was a shooting at a diner in Glendale on Sunday night.
There aren’t many details.
Police say the shooting took place at El Camaron Gigante at 7:45 p.m., close to Grand and Glendale streets.
Police say that up to nine people could get hurt. While police try to figure out what happened, the scene is still very busy.
The police say the public is no longer in danger, but they also say no one has been arrested. Officers have arrested several people and are trying to figure out what they were up to. They think there were more than one shooters.
“I heard people calling each other names.” Lupe Rodriguez, who was nearby, said, “There was a man on the ground and it didn’t look like he made it.” “His dad was calling his name.” It was pretty bad.
Rodriguez said he had to get away from danger. Even though it still scares him, he’s thankful that he and his friends made it out alive.
