A collision involving many vehicles occurred on Interstate 91 near North Haven on Sunday, resulting in the injuries of five individuals, two of whom are in severe condition.
According to the firefighters, the accident included many automobiles, and a total of five persons were hurt as a result of the collision. Of the five, two of them have injuries that are considered to be life-threatening.
At the very least, one of the automobiles that were involved in the collision took fire, according to the state police.
As a result of the collision, lanes of the highway were closed between exits 9 and 10. It is anticipated that the closures would last for a number of hours.
The collision is currently being looked into.
