The bad version of Kentucky basketball returned Tuesday night, as the Alabama Crimson Tide dominated Kentucky at Rupp Arena.

Alabama never trailed in their 85-65 win, which moves them into sole possession of first place in the Southeastern Conference standings.

The twenty-point margin is the largest margin of victory for an opponent at Rupp Arena in the John Calipari era and the third largest in UK history.

The Crimson Tide connected on 14-of-30 three-point attempts, with ten of those coming in the first half of play.

Meanwhile, Kentucky returned to their early-season struggles with turnovers and poor offense. The Wildcats turned the ball over 19 times while only recording seven assists.

The loss moves Kentucky to 4-7 on the season and 3-1 in SEC play. Kentucky will return to action Saturday at Auburn.
