Kentucky landed a key transfer via the portal Friday afternoon.
Javon Baker, a transfer wide receiver from Alabama, announced on social media that he is transferring to Kentucky.
Baker was rated a four-star out of high school. In two seasons at Alabama, he caught nine passes for 116 yards and a touchdown.
Baker chose Kentucky over offers from Florida and Ole Miss. Baker will have three years of eligibility remaining at Kentucky.
Kentucky’s offense in year two under Liam Coen will be fun to watch.
