BJ Boston Dedicates Career Performance vs. Boston to Terrence Clarke

BJ Boston

BJ Boston had the game of his career Wednesday night vs. the Boston Celtics, a 114-111 win for the Los Angeles Clippers.

Boston poured in a team-high 27 points in the win on 9-of-13 shooting, including 5-of-8 from three-point range.

Boston dedicated his performance to his best friend Terrence Clarke, who passed away last April. Clarke was originally from Boston and dreamed of playing for the Celtics.

“That’s the type of relationship we had. He always pushed me to be my best self,” Boston said postgame. “I actually dedicate this game because he’s from Boston and he wanted to play for Boston, so just going out there with a chip on my shoulder and his energy just carried me along the way.”
