Fans have been anticipating the debut of freshman forward Jarred Vanderbilt ever since his injury was announced in September.
The timetable was for Vanderbilt to return sometime this month but there has been speculation about him missing the entire season. However, Calipari offered some encouraging words about the former McDonalds All-American on his call-in show tonight.
Now, that is no confirmation on when he will play but that does confirm that Vanderbilt is practicing and he must be initiating contact. This is the most positive news we have heard in quite some time about Vanderbilt.
Let’s hope the freshman makes his debut sometime soon. Kentucky needs him if they want to make a run in March.
