The Vancouver-based burger chain is bringing seasonal sundaes and its

new line of “dirty soda” drinks

— plus a limited-time burger with locally made toppings — to Bend this month, the company announced Tuesday. The location will take over a former Del Taco drive-thru at 612 S.E. 3rd St., near the Bend Elks baseball stadium.

Burgerville’s Bend location will open its doors at 10 a.m. June 23.

Burgerville’s

last city-exclusive burger

— the Don Burger in Salem, which spotlighted cilantro jalapeno cheese from the award-winning

Don Froylan Creamery

— was a hit.

The Bend restaurant is the latest push in Burgerville’s

regional expansion

efforts. The chain recently

returned to Salem

after a 30 year absence, and last summer, it opened a restaurant

in Wilsonville

— Burgerville’s first new location in almost a decade.

Burgerville currently operates more than 40 locations in the Pacific Northwest, mostly in the Portland- and Vancouver-areas. The Bend restaurant will be its first in central Oregon.

“Expanding into Bend is an exciting milestone for Burgerville,” May Han, the chain’s chief development officer,

said in a March news release
