Dallas Community Mourns 8-Year-Old Killed in Motorcycle Crash

A tragic motorbike accident at a baby shower on Saturday killed 8-year-old Sirayjah Parson and the rider. Another child was seriously hurt, and the whole community is heartbroken.

Sirayjah Parson was a nice little girl who liked to dance and was good friends with Keisha Williams. Williams was in charge of Sirayjah’s cheer team.

“She was a very lively little girl.” Williams said, “They always played and talked.”

As a small tribute to Sirayjah, a pink sign, a balloon, and flowers are put up on Monday. Friends of hers want her family to know how much they will miss her.

I thought Sirayjah was a great second grader. She was nice and friendly. I hope you rest in peace, Sirayjah, Reign Williams said.

Dallas police said they are still looking into the crash in the Oak Cliff area.
