Through three games, the freshman wide receiver has lived up to the hype.

Key led the Wildcats in receiving in Saturday’s 31-0 win vs. Youngstown State, hauling in six receptions for 90 yards, including a three-yard touchdown catch in the second quarter.

In three games, Key has totaled 13 catches, 226 yards, and three touchdowns.

Key has already tied the school record for most touchdown catches in a season by a freshman, tying Derek Abney (2000) and Tommy Cook (2001).

The 6-foot-3, 194-pound Lexington product was named the SEC Freshman of the Week following his 83-yard, one touchdown performance in the Swamp a week ago.
