Kentucky’s 2020-21 roster just got stronger via the NCAA transfer portal.

Creighton transfer Davion Mintz announced his commitment to Kentucky.

As a junior, Mintz averaged 9.7 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists while knocking down 43 three-pointers and swiping 40 steals. He had a number of impressive performances, including a career night with 21 points and 5 made three pointers vs. Marquette in 2019.

Mintz started 79 games for the Bluejays during his first three seasons with the program. Prior to his senior season in 2019-20, Mintz suffered a high ankle sprain. Instead of missing half the season and trying to work his way back, he chose to redshirt in December and retain a year of eligibility. He entered the transfer portal last week.

Mintz will be immediately eligible and will have one season to play.
