A new transfer target for Kentucky and John Calipari emerged Sunday morning when Corey Evans of Rivals reported that DeAndre Williams included Kentucky on his list of four schools.
The Evansville transfer will choose between Arkansas, Baylor, Kentucky, and Memphis this week, according to Evans.
Williams still has his name in the NBA Draft, but schools have been reaching out in case he plays college basketball next season.
The 6-foot-9 forward is considered a traditional transfer that would require a waiver to be ruled eligible for the 2020-21 season. However, Evansville fired head coach Walter McCarty last season after allegedly violating Title IX laws. I’d be surprised if that doesn’t lead to Williams receiving a waiver to play this season.

Evansville Forward DeAndre Williams (@MbkDmann) has cut his list to four, and Kentucky is an option for the 6' 9" transfer. Williams averaged 15 points and 7 rebounds a game last season. Kentucky is looking to add a big man (or 2) and Williams could certainly help fill that need. pic.twitter.com/7VdxYX0Arc
