Kentucky picks up commitment from in-state Offensive Tackle Eli Cox
Mark Stoops and the Kentucky Wildcats picked up an in-state Yahtzee for 2019 Monday evening. Eli Cox, an offensive lineman from West Jessamine, announced his commitment to Kentucky via his Twitter account. He unofficially visited Kentucky for the annual blue/white spring game in April.
Cox, a 6-foot-4, 300-pound junior, grew up a fan of the Wildcats. The UK commit picked up an offer from Kentucky last week.
In addition, Cox holds offers from Cincinnati, Marshall, Toledo, and Ball State while Louisville and Purdue have shown interest. However, he knew Kentucky is home.
Cox is aiming to graduate high school early, because he wants to enroll at Kentucky in January.
