The Kentucky Wildcats suffered the worst loss of the John Calipari era Thursday night in Indianapolis, losing in overtime to Saint Peters, the No. 15 seed from the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
The Wildcats built a 68-62 lead with 4:12 remaining in the game, but the Peacocks battled back to force overtime.
Saint Peter’s outscored the Wildcats 14-8 in the extra period, bouncing Kentucky from the NCAA Tournament in the first round for the first time in John Calipari’s tenure.
