Video: Everything Mark Stoops said Following Kentucky’s Loss at Georgia

Athens, GA – Mark Stoops has said multiple times that Kentucky football no longer looks for moral victories but the Wildcats got one Saturday night at Georgia.

While the final score of 21-0 implies the Bulldogs controlled the game from start to finish, Kentucky had opportunities to make plays but couldn’t convert in those situations.

Kentucky’s defense came to play, holding Georgia scoreless in the first half, but they eventually cracked after a bad punt and fumble set up the Bulldogs first two touchdowns. That said, Stoops and defensive coordinator Brad White have to be pleased with the defensive effort the last few weeks.

Offensively, Lynn Bowden started his second consecutive game at quarterback. Kentucky had success moving the ball down field on two possessions in the second half but drive killing penalties and a dropped touchdown resulted in Kentucky coming up empty.

Stoops addressed the media following the loss. You can view the entire postgame press conference in the video below.
