When a man, 36 years old, was shot and killed in Montgomery, Alabama, in the early morning hours of Sunday, a father and son have been charged with the crime.
In the case of Jamahl Jackson’s death, Curtis London Sr., who is 37 years old, and Curtis London Jr., who is 19 years old, have been charged with capital murder.
According to Sgt. Tina McGriff, Montgomery police and fire medics were called to the scene of a shooting around four in the morning on Highland Avenue at Hall Street. The victim was reported to have been shot. Jackson was found to be deceased at the scene when they arrived.
There has been no disclosure of information on the homicide situation.
Between the hours of four and four o’clock on Sunday, a father and son were taken into custody and placed into the Montgomery County Detention Center. They continue to be kept without any form of bond.
It has not been disclosed what the motive was, but according to the records of the jail, the charge is capital murder because the shots that killed the victim were fired from a car.
