Maine State Police Arrest Four, Seize Guns, Drugs, and Stolen Property After Stockton Springs Investigation
Maine State Police have arrested four individuals and confiscated multiple firearms, suspected drugs, and stolen property following a traffic stop and subsequent search warrant execution in Stockton Springs.
Traffic Stop Uncovers Evidence
The investigation began on the evening of Monday, January 13, 2025, when Maine State Police conducted a traffic stop on Cape Jellison Road. Acting on tips regarding illegal firearm activity and stolen property, officers discovered over 192 grams of an off-white powder, suspected to be drugs, along with drug-related equipment.
Two individuals were arrested during the stop:
- Nicholas Hart, 38 – Charged with violation of bail conditions.
- Brittany Saucier, 25 – Charged with violation of bail conditions.
Search Warrant at Cross Lane Residence
The evidence obtained during the traffic stop led to a search warrant for a residence at 27 Cross Lane, believed to be linked to Hart and Saucier. The search resulted in the seizure of:
- A .22 revolver
- A .22 long rifle
- A 30-30 lever-action hunting rifle
- Two muzzleloaders
- Stolen property valued at $3,000
The stolen items were returned to their rightful owner.
Two additional arrests were made:
- Tyler Damon, 33 – Charged with failure to appear on an arrest warrant.
- Raymond Pomeroy Jr., 39 – Charged with felony possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and violation of bail conditions. Pomeroy, who resided at the searched residence, was already in jail at the time of the search.
Ongoing Investigation
The seized substances are undergoing laboratory testing, and additional drug-related charges may follow. Hart was transported to Two Bridges Jail, while Saucier was taken to Knox County Jail.
