Fishing Boat Accident Near Massachusetts Coast Leaves One Dead, Another Hurt

Massachusetts’s NAHANT County An event that occurred on a boat located in Maine resulted in the death of one man and the injury of another, according to the Coast Guard.

According to reports, the Coast Guard received a distress call from a fishing vessel known as “25 to Life” approximately 25 miles off the coast of Nahant, Massachusetts, at approximately four o’clock of the afternoon on Saturday.

According to the Coast Guard, the call indicated that two members of the crew had been injured upon being struck by a piece of snapped rope.

The two individuals were reportedly transported to the hospital by the authorities once they arrived at the boat.

According to the Coast Guard, one of them, Jaxson Marston, who was 26 years old, has already passed away as a result of his injuries.

The “Go-Fund-Me” page that Maine Representative Tiffany Strout of Harrington posted on her Facebook page was intended to provide financial support to the family of the victim.
