Former Oregon Ducks guard added to Trail Blazers’ summer league roster

Keeshawn Barthelemy, a former guard for the Oregon Ducks, has joined the Portland Trail Blazers for the summer league.

On July 11 in Las Vegas, Nevada, the Blazers kick up their 2025 NBA Summer League campaign.

After transferring from Colorado, where he played for two seasons, the 6-foot-1 guard spent three seasons at Oregon.

During his time with the Ducks, Barthelemy averaged 9.3 points and 2.4 assists while starting 28 of his 67 games at Oregon.

He shot 42.6% from the field and 41.4% from three-point range while scoring 10.0 points a game and dishing out 2.5 assists during the previous season. In the season’s last 14 games, he started.

After making 18 appearances in 2023–24, Barthelemy’s season was cut short by a dislocated ankle.

The G League’s Rip City Remix will give Barthelemy a chance to shoot his way into a shot.

After finishing 26th in three-point shooting (34.2%) the previous season and moving guard Anfernee Simons to the Boston Celtics, the Blazers are in dire need of outside shooting within the club.

Barthelemy will get the chance to train against James Bouknight and other guards with NBA experience.

Playing with rookie center Yang Hansen, whom the Blazers selected in the draft in part due to his passing prowess and court vision, could provide Barthelemy with plenty of shot opportunities.
