Heartbreaking: Kansas City First Responder Dies in Ambulance Attack

According to the announcement made by the municipal officials, a firefighter-paramedic from Kansas municipal has passed away after being stabbed in an ambulance by a patient that he was transporting late on Sunday morning.

Officers have taken the suspect into custody.

At approximately one in the morning, Graham Hoffman, age 29, was dispatched to the vicinity of North Oak Traffickway and MO-152 on a routine call.

According to Michael Hopkins, the Battalion Chief of the Kansas City Fire Department, Hoffman was being transported to the hospital when he was stabbed in the heart by the individual he was transporting. After that, his partner made a call to the authorities and requested additional medical assistance.

According to the officials, crews initially attempted to save his life while he was being transported to North Kansas City Hospital. They continued their efforts in the emergency room before he was brought into surgery. The intensive care unit was where he passed away as a result of his injuries.
