The Kentucky Wildcats landed a new piece to the 2022-23 roster Wednesday.
Antonio Reeves, a transfer from Illinois State, committed to Kentucky Wednesday. Paul Biancardi of ESPN reported the news.
The 6-foot-6, 185-pound guard improved every season at Illinois State. After averaging 7.2 points per game as a freshman, he increased his average to 20.1 points as a junior this past season.
Reeves is a career 34.8 percent three-point shooter across three seasons but shot a career-best 39.0 percent from long range in 2021-22.
The transfer guard totaled 20 or more points in 18 games last season, topped off by a career-high 34 in a win vs. Valparaiso.
He is the first off-season addition via the portal to Kentucky’s 2022-23 roster.
