Immanuel Quickley Will be the Perfect Teammate at Kentucky
Later today, Kentucky will likely add another five-star point guard when Tyrese Maxey makes his announcement at 5 p.m. ET.
The question is will Maxey play for Kentucky in 2018 or 2019? Regardless, Kentucky signee Immanuel Quickley will welcome either scenario.
In a podcast interview with Aaron Torres of KSR, Quickley offered his thoughts about a potentially loaded backcourt that could include himself, Quade Green, Ashton Hagans, and Tyrese Maxey. The five-star guard said he is excited to play with whoever is on the floor with him.
“I’m really excited to play with whoever is there, honestly. I think it just speaks to Coach Cal because he’s pretty much had teams like this already. There was the year where they had the Harrison twins, Tyler Ulis, and Devin Booker, and he got them all to play together and they reached the Final Four.”
Kentucky fans will love how selfless Quickley is. He will be a fan favorite the moment he arrives on campus. Quickley already hosted a charity basketball camp.
