James Wiseman and Multiple UK Targets Earn EYBL Indy Honors

James Wiseman; UK Targets Take Home EYBL Honors from Indianapolis Session

During last weekends Nike EYBL session in Indianapolis, Kentucky target James Wiseman showed exactly why he is a consensus top two player in the 2019 class.

Wiseman, a 6-foot-11 forward from Memphis, TN., led the Bluff City Legends to a 3-1 record through four games. He faced multiple double teams but that didn’t slow him down. He flashed his ability to face up and score off the bounce, as well as knock down the step back three-pointer.

For the weekend, Wiseman averaged 19.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game on his way to being named to the D1circuit.com first-team All-EYBL Indy.

Joining Wiseman on the first team was UK targets Tyrese Maxey and Keion Brooks, who actually took home MVP of the weekend after averaging 23 points, 7 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 2.3 blocks per game for the Indy Heat.

UK commit D.J. Jeffries was named honorable mention, along with UK targets Jalen Lecque, Scottie Barnes, and N’Faly Dante.
