A former Kentucky wide receiver is returning to Lexington.
JaVonte Richardson announced his commitment to Kentucky via his Twitter account Sunday evening. Last January, Richardson transferred to Iowa Western Community College to improve his grades.
Richardson is ranked the No. 2 JUCO wide receiver and No. 17 overall player in the country, according to 247 Sports. Additionally, Rivals ranks him as a four-star player.
The 6-foot-4, 220-pound receiver has recorded 305 yards and three touchdowns through six games this season.
