The 6-foot-3, 210-pound Tuenge is considered a three-star recruit per

247Sports

, which lists him as the No. 11 recruit in Oregon’s class of 2026. He also had offers from Air Force, Brown, Princeton and Utah State.

While he was listed as a receiver and defensive back on the Jesuit roster last fall, Tuenge was a first-team all-Metro League selection as a linebacker.

Jesuit went 9-3 in the 2024 fall season, finishing second in the Metro League. The Crusaders were the No. 15 seed in the Class 6A state championship bracket, falling 42-32 to North Medford in the state semifinals on Nov. 22.

The Harvard Crimson went 8-2 in the 2024 season and tied for first with Dartmouth in the Ivy League standings.

Tuenge’s commitment is the latest in a string of Oregon high school commitments this week. On Tuesday,

Lake Oswego running back LaMarcus Bell

, and

Mountainside linebacker and tight end Sam Vyhlidal

both announced their respective commitments. On Monday,

Lakeridge edge rusher Noah Tishendorf

flipped his commitment from Oregon State to West Virginia.

Jesuit’s Joe Stimpson, also a rising senior and a three-star recruit per

247Sports

, remains uncommitted. He has offers from Nevada, Central Arkansas, Georgetown, Idaho and Montana.

Other uncommitted Oregon football players from the class of 2026, include Mountainside quarterback Cade Mitchell, North Salem athlete Braxton Singleton, Nelson safety Chaz Katoanga, Central Catholic linebacker Donnie Vercher and Central Catholic running back Killian Sombe.

Baker receiver Rasean Jones is also uncommitted, but is expected to transfer to Rocky Mountain High School in Idaho for his senior year.
