John Calipari, Kentucky Building Momentum with Elite 2022 Recruits

UK Athletics

Is John Calipari and Kentucky closing in on commitments for the 2022 class that already includes five-star guard Skyy Clark?

Kentucky is turning up the heat with two five-star prospects by getting them on campus for visits, with one making a second trip to Lexington.

Five-star wing Cason Wallace just wrapped up an official visit to Kentucky over the weekend. Shaedon Sharpe, the No. 1 player in the updated Rivals rankings, is currently on his second visit to Kentucky.

Sharpe officially visited Kentucky earlier this summer but his parents weren’t able to make the trip to Lexington with him at that time.

Kentucky is considered the heavy favorite to land Sharpe, and it sounds like Wallace (and more) could be coming soon, according to Kyle Tucker of The Athletic.

Kentucky fans are itching for good news in basketball recruiting with Memphis and Duke generating the buzz on the recruiting trail the last few months.

In addition to Wallace and Sharpe, Kentucky is strongly pursuing five-star talents Derek Lively and Adem Bona. Chris Livington, a top-five player in the class, also included Kentucky in his Top 4 last week.

The Sources Say Podcast crew dropped an episode Tuesday to discuss the visits and should fans be anticipating good news?
