A report surfaced Monday morning that Kentucky guard CJ Fredrick had suffered a broken leg, making Big Blue Nation think the worst.
John Calipari, however, updated the injury status of Fredrick, and the news isn’t as bad.
Calipari confirmed that Fredrick had a procedure Monday morning, but it was minor and needed to be performed before the season started.
The UK coach says Fredrick will be ready to go for the season.
.@CJ_fredrick had a minor procedure today that needed to be done at some point before the season. He and his family decided to be proactive and have it done now rather than wait. We are all happy it went well and he will be back better than ever and ready to go for the season!
