Keion Brooks found his new home Monday when he announced his commitment to the University of Washington.
After signing with the Wildcats as a member of the 2019 recruiting class, the former Kentucky Wildcat spent three seasons in Lexington.
Following the 2021-22 season, the Kentucky forward decided to enter the NCAA transfer portal.
Kentucky coach John Calipari had a message for Brooks on his decision to transfer to Washington.
“I want to wish Keion Brooks the best as he finishes his career at Washington,” Calipari wrote on Twitter. “Keion gave his best to our program, was loyal, and was a great teammate. I have great respect for Washington and will be rooting for them and Keion – unless we have to play them!”
