Wonder if John Calipari is a Star Wars Fan?
John Calipari will likely turn heads again next week when five-guard Tyrese Maxey announces his college choice. The Wildcats are the heavy favorite for Maxey, who will likely reclassify to 2018 when he makes his decision.
This spring, Calipari has picked up commitments from Ashton Hagans and E.J. Montgomery. Hagans is working on a reclassification to 2018. If that happens, and Maxey does the same, Kentucky’s backcourt would have four five-star point guards next season.
Calipari is seeking revenge on the recruiting trail and he smells blood in the water. The Kentucky Basketball Twitter account tweeted the following image of Calipari, in honor of May the 4th.
For now, Calipari is recovering from a minor surgery. Get well soon, and May the 4th be with you.
