As we approach Big Blue Madness and the exhibition season for UK basketball in October, the Big Blue Nation is learning what the Wildcats will have this season.
UK is currently rolling out their “Meet the Wildcats” series, which gives fans some information on each player and the opportunity for them to tell their story.
Kahlil Whitney is a name Kentucky fans are already familiar with, even those that haven’t watched the freshman on the floor. For those that haven’t, you’re in for a treat this season.
The 6-foot-8 wing recently participated in the Nike Camp against fellow collegiate players and a few professionals. Among those players were former Cat Devin Booker and San Antonio Spurs guard DeMar DeRozan. According to those in attendance, Whitney really impressed with his offensive game.

The men’s basketball team is currently enjoying a break from summer workouts, which is why Whitney wasn’t on campus last weekend. The players will return to campus when classes resume this month.
Until then, you have this highlight to enjoy. Whitney showed off his freakish athleticism and leaped over someone with ease.
