On Friday, Kentucky star Kevin Knox announced that he will hire an agent and enter the 2018 NBA draft. One of the first people to congratulate him is the guy that will take his spot in the UK lineup next season, incoming freshman Keldon Johnson.
Earlier today, Johnson was named an All-USA All-American. The future Wildcat took to Twitter to congratulate Knox on his decision.
Congrats to my guy @KevKnox ?

The departure of Knox makes Johnson’s impact at Kentucky next season even more crucial. Johnson’s 6-foot-6 frame isn’t comparable to Knox’s at 6-foot-9 but their games are similar. If his comments and performances in the McDonald’s All-Star events are any indications, Johnson will be willing to accept the challenge of a key role at Kentucky.
