After the news that Kevin Knox will enter the 2018 NBA draft, Kentucky fans need something to look forward to next season.
UK announces that incoming freshman Keldon Johnson has been named to the All-USA Boys Basketball All-American Second Team. USA Today has three teams made up of five high school seniors for each team.
The 6-foot-6 McDonald’s All-American is a consensus five-star player in the 2018 class. ESPN ranks Johnson as high as No. 6 overall while 247 Sports ranks him No. 13 and Rivals No. 14.
The future Wildcat led Oak Hill Academy to a 42-1 overall record, averaging 22.1 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game during his senior season.
