The Kentucky women’s basketball program received good news Saturday morning, picking up their fifth commitment of the 2022 class.

Kennedy Cambridge, a 5-foot-8 guard from Nashville, Tennessee, announced her commitment to Kentucky. She chose Kentucky over Auburn and Ole Miss.

Cambridge was a Miss Basketball finalist in Tennessee and won a state title this season at Ensworth High School.

The news comes at a much-needed time for the Kentucky program, which lost three key players to the transfer portal Friday.

Dre’una Edwards, Jazmine Massengill, and Treasure Hunt all entered the portal.

Cambridge joins Kentucky’s 2022 class that includes Tionna Herron, Saniah Tyler, Amiya Jenkins, and Cassidy Rowe.
