Kentucky’s losing streak extended to three games after another miserable offensive performance, this time in a loss to Georgia Tech, who had suffered losses to Georgia State and Mercer this season.
For as poorly as they played against Richmond and Kansas, Sunday’s loss to Georgia Tech might have been the worst performance of the three for Kentucky.
Turnovers once again proved costly, as the Wildcats committed 21 to just six for Georgia Tech. The Yellow Jackets made Kentucky pay by converting Kentucky’s turnovers into 33 points.
The loss moves Kentucky to 1-3 on the season, which marks their worst start since starting 1-3 during the 2000-2001 campaign.
