The Kentucky Wildcats moved to 13-3 on the season while improving their Southeastern Conference record to 3-1 with a 78-66 win at Vanderbilt Tuesday night.
The win vs. the first true road victory for the Wildcats, who dropped their first two opportunities at Notre Dame and LSU.
Kentucky is still searching for their first marquee road win of the season to add to their resume and pportunities are on the horizon.
The win did move Kentucky up in the NET Rankings. The Wildcats check in at No. 12 in the latest update, four spots higher than they were entering the matchup at Vanderbilt.
LSU (3), Auburn (6), Tennessee (10), Mississippi State (46), and Florida (49) are SEC teams ranked inside the Top 50 of the NET.
The NET Rankings are a tool used to help seed at large teams in the NCAA Tournament.
